The big brother of the BT900, the BT902 on-board control device carries out the same tasks, but is also equipped with numerous additional functions and options to meet higher expectations regarding control from the vehicle itself. As a central interface, the BT902 on-board control device is able to communicate with and control all of the bustec components on the vehicle that are connected via the data bus. LED exterior displays, LED interior displays, TFT monitor systems (dynamic procedural displays) with route information and announcement technology. A speedometer input and 7 freely-configurable binary inputs and a memory which can be expanded up to 64GB make this unit a real multi-talent. The device closes the gap between the simple BT900 control device and the complex BT937 on-board computer.

BT902 ON-BOARD CONTROL DEVICE FOR BUSES AND TRAINS WITH A VARIETY OF ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
Whereas the standard version of the bustec BT900 control device is used primarily for controlling the bustec LED exterior displays, the BT902 version goes one step further: Thanks to the expanded functions, this vehicle interface enables the driver of bus or train to control the LED interior displays, TFT monitor systems and announcement equipment via the multifunctional control button. The expanded functional scope of the BT902 on-board control device also includes a GPS module. The BT902 "white" control device knows where the vehicle is currently located and is thus able to intelligently communicate and interact with the display systems and other passenger information systems in the bus and train. In detail, the bustec BT902 control device not only takes on the control of exterior displays but also all interior displays including TFT systems (dynamic procedural displays). It recognises and visualises the current location and/or the following "next stops" and controls other passenger information systems as well as acoustic announcement equipment.
This makes the bustec BT902 on-board control device into a powerful switching point within the vehicle.Equipped with a graphics-capable LCD display with LED backlighting, soft keys and multifunctional control button, USB 2.0 interface and extensive interfaces (IBIS, RS485, RS232, Ethernet), the low purchase costs are also key. As an on-board control device, the BT902 is able to supply the display systems with the latest software and current data at all times. Additional features of the BT902 include reliability and simple operation via the modern multifunctional control button.
